FILM UND FOTO KLUB //

watching films… about photography

Join us for our regular film club! The name FILM UND FOTO KLUB comes from the Film und Foto exhibition which took place in Stuttgart in 1929 to showcase new and transformative photography and cinema. Pricing is on a ‘pay what you can’ basis - your donations are hugely appreciated and ensure the survival of spaces like this, and allowing us to keep the lowest priced tickets really affordable where possible.

FILM UND FOTO KLUB runs roughly bi-monthly on Tuesday evenings. The next screening will be in honour of the late Brian Griffin, The Surreal Lives of Brain Griffin (+ Q&A with director Michael Prince) on Tuesday 9 April.

READERS // an accessible reading group exploring visual culture

READERS is a new reading group, with a primary focus on photography and the moving image. Every month, (on in-person and one online) we meet to discuss a different text and share visual works and references the text reminded us of.

Attendance is free, with an option to donate to the venue and event facilitator if you are able to do so. Your donations are hugely appreciated and ensure the survival of spaces like this, allowing us to keep the lowest priced tickets really affordable or free where possible. The purpose of the group is to make reading and talking about photography more accessible, using wide variety of references.

READERS runs monthly on Wednesday evenings.
